Our Story: Two Mothers, a Best Friend, and One Bedding Revolution

It Started With a Night Like This

A baby crying. Not the hungry cry or the wet diaper cry - the kind of cry that says "My skin hurts and I don't understand why."

It was 3 AM, and two mothers were awake in different houses, dealing with the same problem: eczema. Their babies' delicate skin was reacting to everything - soaps, detergents, and worst of all, the bedding they slept in.

Synthetic fibers. Flame retardants. Chemical dyes. The very things meant to keep babies safe were making them sick.

What They Found

The children's bedding market is flooded with products that prioritize profit over skin health. Cheap polyester filled with petroleum-based fibers. "Hypoallergenic" labels that mean nothing without certifications. "Natural" claims that aren't backed by evidence.

These two mothers - and their closest friend, who became their third co-founder - made a discovery: the bedding materials that were safest for babies were the ones humans had used for centuries. Silk. Cashmere. Organic cotton. Natural fibers that breathe, regulate temperature, and don't require chemical processing.

Why alanünü?

The name comes from an ancient lullaby - a sound, not a word. A sound that crosses cultures and languages, the universal melody of a parent soothing a child to sleep.

We chose it because alanünü isn't about us. It's about that moment: the quiet after the last cry, the warmth of a sleeping baby, the relief of a parent who finally gets to rest.

Every product we make is one we would use for our own children. Because we do. Every design is tested by pediatric dermatologists. Every piece is made to last - not just through one baby, but through childhood.

What We Believe

We don't just make bedding. We're building a children's sleep platform. The science, the materials, the stories - all of it exists to help one child sleep better, one night at a time.

And if our own 3 AM struggles helped build something that saves even one other parent from the same sleepless nights? Then every late night was worth it.

Welcome to alanünü. Sleep well.
